Paperless Savings ROI

Modern courts today realize that going electronic dramatically improves their efficiency and quality of service. To help measure this, the National Center for State Courts (NCSC) in conjunction with Manatee County published an article for Calculating an E-Court Return on Investment (ROI)1. The chart to the left summarizes the results of their study, comparing the average annual per page cost with various degrees of a court being paperless. The net savings of a paper based court vs electronic only court is approximately 58 cents per page.
